Itinerary

The flight to Paro is considered the best mountain flight in the world. Arrive at Paro (2,200 meters/7720 feet). Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by High Altitude Nomad's representative. Then you will drive to Thimpu which is 55 Km from Paro, taking One and half hours. Upon arrival at Thimpu (2,330 meters/ 7,700 feet). If time permits visit Ringpung Dzong and Kichu Lakhang. Dinner and Overnight stay at Thimpu.

The morning after breakfast visit the National Library, Memorial Chorten of the Late King Jigme Dorje Wangchuk, Zeleukha Nunnery. Later drive back to Paro on the scenic highway. Upon arrival transfer to your Hotel. After lunch visits National Museum and Paro Dzong. Dinner and Overnight stay at Paro.

Today is the most important as we hike to Tiger's Nest. Situated at an altitude Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's nest) is the most important pilgrimage for Bhutanese, as it is mandatory to go to Tiger's Next at least once in their lifetime. As per the legend, Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) arrived on the back of the Tigress and meditated there. The hike to the top will take approximately 2 hours. (Options by horse are available on direct pay basis) From this viewpoint get a mesmerizing view. Evening explores the surrounding. Overnight stay at Paro.

Final Departure!!! High Altitude Nomad's representative will transfer you to Paro Airport for your onward flight.
