Day 1 :
Arrival in Lhasa (3,656m)
Upon your arrival at Gongkhar Airport, Lhasa, meet our office representative and be transferred to the hotel. From the airport, it takes approximately 45 minutes to reach the city center. The rest of the day is free for acclimatization purposes. Overnight at a hotel in Lhasa.
Day 2 :
Guided sightseeing tour in Lhasa
After breakfast commences a full-day guided sightseeing tour in Lhasa city. The tour includes the visit to Norbulinkha Palace (summer residence of Dalai Lama), Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Square (market). Norbulingka Palace is built in 1956 and is the summer retreat of His Holiness Dalai Lama. The premise is decorated with Tibetan wood carving and painting. Then proceed to Sera Monastery. Get a rich insight into the important aspect of Tibetan Buddhism. Later visit Jokhang Temple andBarkhor market. Overnight at Hotel in Lhasa.
Day 3 :
Guided sightseeing tour in Lhasa
Today we will have a guided sightseeing tour of Potala Palace and Drepung Monastery. Potala Palace is the main highlight of any trip to Tibet and is the masterpiece of centuries-old Tibetan architecture and paintings. Later visit Drepung Monastery. Drepung Monastery is situated at the foot of Gambo Utse Mountain. It is one of the 'Great Three' Gelug University Monastery of Tibet. Overnight at Hotel in Lhasa.
Day 4 :
Final departure
Your trip ends. After breakfast, you will be transferred to International Airport to board your flight to your next destination.
