Due to the high altitude, the main food of Tibet consists of meat as a primary as it is hard to grow vegetables or crops in the harsh and arid land of the Tibetan Plateau. In Nepal, you can find continental and another cuisine.

What currency do we need while traveling in Tibet?

The common currency in Tibet is the Chinese Ren Min Bi (Yuwan). You need to convert your local currency to Chinese Yuan which can be found in major cities.

What is the road condition of the Tibet Overland Tour?

Even being at the highest elevation in the world, the roads in Tibet have been improved so far. The roads in Tibet are well maintained and improved to make tourism easier.
However, in the Nepal section, the road going to Keyrung is not in proper condition. This is due to being in a harsh geographical location and landslides occur frequently which makes the travel a little bit hard.
